Following the appointment of the Prime Minister, this Wednesday, President Bajram Begaj , upon the proposal of the Prime Minister, decreed the new ministers today, and forwarded the decrees to the Albanian Parliament for competence.

The procedure for appointing new ministers will be concluded in accordance with the Constitution in the coming days, with the swearing-in of the ministers, after the Assembly approves the program and composition of the Government.

The swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Institution of the President of the Republic.

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Bajram Begaj, today decreed the dismissal from office of:

Ms. Belinda Balluku , Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy;

Ms. Elisa Spiropali , Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs;

Mr. Pirro Vengu , Minister of Defense;

Ms. Albana Koçiu , Minister of Internal Affairs;

Mr. Besfort Lamallari , Minister of Justice;

Mr. Toni Gogu , Minister of State for Parliamentary Relations.

Also today, the President of the Republic, His Excellency Bajram Begaj, decreed the appointment to office of:

Ms. Albana Koçiu , Deputy Prime Minister;

Mr. Ferit Hoxha , Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs;

Mr. Besfort Lamallari , Minister of Internal Affairs;

Mr. Ermal Nufi , Minister of Defense;

Mr. Toni Gogu , Minister of Justice;

Mr. Enea Karakaçi , Minister of Infrastructure and Energy;

Ms. Erjona Ismaili , Minister of State for Parliamentary Relations.
