Two municipal police officers have clashed with each other in the capital.

According to the official announcement,  Eugen Saliasi  hit his colleague,  Alfred Xhoxhaj,  in the office.

The police report was filed by the latter the day before.

The police have launched an investigation into Salias for the criminal offense of "Assault in the Line of Duty".

Police announcement:

On 03.03.2026, citizen A. Xh., an employee of the Tirana Municipal Police, appeared at Police Station No. 3, reporting that, due to a conflict over weak motives related to the nature of the work, he was hit in the office premises by his colleague, an employee of the Municipal Police, citizen ES, who was prosecuted for the criminal offense of "Hitting due to duty."
