The extradition of the Portuguese for the murder in Shengjin, the Ministry sends
Ardian Nikulaj and Ruben Saraiva

Procedures have started between Albania and Morocco to extradite the perpetrator of Ardian Nikulaj's murder to our country.

The Ministry of Justice has forwarded to Morocco the file with evidence and facts against Ruben Saraiva, for the murder that happened on April 19 in Shengjin. The evidence will convince the Moroccan authorities that they are on the diplomatic track, seeking his extradition.

There is no extradition document with Morocco, but on the basis of mutual reciprocity between the two countries, there have been cases of submission of requests requested by experts.

The Moroccan court has given Saraiva a 40-day detention measure as a result of the international arrest warrant issued by Albania. The author of Nikulaj's murder was caught on Sunday (April 6) in Morocco, while Interpol Tirana informed its partners about his presence there, since Ruben Saraiva has connections with several members from Morocco.

Among the strongest evidences linking Saraiva beyond the statements, film footage, filmed associations with Edmond Haxhia is also DNA, biological evidence obtained from the clothes and clothing that he has in Haxhia's house in Kakarriq of Lezha, where the motorcycle that was also found was used in crime.

Ardian Nikulaj was killed on April 19 inside his bar in Shengjin. The orderer and organizer is Edmond Haxhia, who has been arrested, together with three Britons Thomas Mithan, Steve Hunt and Harriet Bridgeman. All four of them have been handcuffed, as the British authorities have accepted as legal the request made by the State Police. Harry Simpson, also accused as an accomplice, remains wanted for this incident.

Ruben Saravia left Albania through the Customs of Kapshtica, together with the British Harry Simson, in the direction of Greece. The British are suspected to have been informers, they stayed at the resort owned by businessman Ardian Nikulaj and according to the investigators, they observed his and the staff's movements for days, which they then reported to the Portuguese Ruben Saraiva.
