The State Police will engage 5,500 officers to guarantee security and the smooth running of the regular election process in the local elections that will be held on Sunday, May 14.

It is known that during the last three months, nearly seven thousand employees have been trained by the OSCE in cooperation with the CEC, for the security of local elections.

It should be noted that some of them will be engaged in the transportation and storage of election materials. Their intervention inside the premises of the voting centers is done for emergency cases or otherwise only at the request of the chairman of the voting center.

Also, the State Police has taken over the protection of the CEAZs throughout the country, where the vote counting process will be carried out. The necessary materials, such as cameras, counting objects, etc., have arrived in these premises, which were transported without any problems.
