Albania-Czech Republic match, Duka meeting with Balla: I wish to celebrate without any incident

When we are a few hours away from the football match between Albania and the Czech Republic, the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, together with the police leaders, held a meeting with the representatives of the Albanian Football Federation.

Balla and Duka announced the plan of measures for the smooth running of the match and called on the fans not to try to bring illegal items into the stadium, as the punishments will be severe for everyone.

"There are some problems that we have to share with the public, starting from the ticket check that will be done without entering the stadium, when the physical check is done and the check with equipment that verifies the validity of the ticket. The police have taken measures to combat the forgery of tickets and anyone who attempts to do so will be prosecuted by the police and the prosecutor's office. Starting from the match with Poland, the Federation has made decisions to prevent some people from entering the stadium, their identities are public. These examples will be followed for other sports matches in the country. From the AFL, we need people who have a court decision to be excluded from sports events.

I want to be clear with sports fans and fans, cases of violence will not be tolerated and the measures will be drastic. We are studying for the Police to take back the security for the big matches, for their success in cooperation with the AFL. We will have a record number of police officers committed to public safety. I ask for the understanding of all the fans that the arrival at the stadium should not be the last hour, but should be spread over the 3 hours that preceded the event to make the appropriate checks ," said Balla.

The Minister of the Interior further emphasized that even if there is a case of flares in the stadium, the public must understand that the next match of the national team on November 20, will take place with half the capacity of the "National Arena" or without the presence of fans.

Kreu i FSHF, Armand Duka kërkoi bashkëpunimin e tifozëve që do të jenë në stadium për të shmangur dënimin e fushës.
