Accused of buying and selling votes, the first court hearing for Fredi Beleri

The first session for the elected mayor of Himara, Fredi Beleri, has ended.

Belerin's lawyers requested the invalidity of the recording of the investigations against him and the dismissal of judge Etleva Deda.

Deda submitted his resignation, because he had previously considered a request from Beler.

The first session in the foundation process for Fredi Beleri started today at 09:00. The lawyers have asked the court for an invalidity of the total acts regarding the recording of investigations against Fredi Beleri, in relation to the accusation of corruption in the elections. It is about the registration of the investigations started by the Prosecutor's Office of Vlora on May 8, a few days before the elections on May 14, where the defense lawyers claim that these investigations should not be started by the Prosecutor's Office of Vlora, because it was not the competence of this prosecutor's office. but according to the defense lawyers, the Special Prosecutor's Office has the competence. The defense lawyers filed the request in court, but it was opposed by the prosecutor Adnan Xholi.

Another request of the lawyers, they claimed that some other documents or files in the court for Mr. Beleri, were examined by one of the members of the judging panel, Etleva Deda.

The next hearing for Beler will take place on October 17 at 2:00 p.m
