Ikbale Sinani, the mother of Roland Sinani, the 43-year-old who killed his sister-in-law and then himself, has revealed a detail about the victim of Saturday's incident.

In an interview, she said that yesterday they had planned to go out to buy food to celebrate the birthday of Migena's husband, Erjon, who had it on the 11th, and the 37-year-old woman, who had it on the 13th of April. That's why they celebrated both birthdays together.

"I went there at three in the morning, when I opened the door I saw Landi sleeping. I told him what's up, he said he didn't sleep. I told him to lie down and go to buy some chickens tomorrow because it was Erjoni and Migena's birthday and we were both celebrating birthdays together. Rolandi said well. Erjoni was 11 and Migena was 13. I just lay down, it didn't last half an hour, and I heard a crack. I went to Migena's room, the girl was crying, Landi was in the corridor. No I saw neither blood nor anything. He told me with his own mouth that he killed Migena," she said.

Migena Sinani was killed around 04:00 while sleeping with her two-year-old daughter. Roland Sinani shot him dead in bed, then went out into the yard and committed suicide.

The 37-year-old woman was the mother of two minor children, but the boy was sleeping with his grandparents in the other room at the time of the crime.

The husband of the 37-year-old was working the third shift as a taxi driver and was not at home when the incident happened.
