New details have emerged regarding the serious incident that occurred last evening in the village of Agonas, Kavaja , where as a result of a conflict between two brothers, one of them, 74-year-old Eqerem Rreshka , lost his life  .

During police questioning, 76-year-old Muharrem Rrashka stated that there was an old conflict between him and his brother regarding a road that he claimed passed through his land.

According to him, they started arguing fiercely and during the conflict he stabbed her several times.

The author expresses regret that the argument with his brother ended in tragedy, while emphasizing that he himself had no intention of using the knife, but during the fight in a fit of rage he struck him.

"We have an old conflict with Eqerem. About a road that is part of my property. He used to use it to drive his tractor and damaged my land. We had clashed several times. I had told him not to drive there anymore because it was my property. Last night he drove there again with his tractor saying he was going to his land to load hay bales. I told him not to drive. He ignored me. He revved up the tractor and wanted to hit me. I was in front of the tractor and left at that moment. We started arguing fiercely. During the conflict, I stabbed him several times. I am very sorry that it ended like this. I did not intend to use the knife, but during the fight, in the heat of the moment, I stabbed him. I regret it very much," the 76-year-old stated, among other things.

The Kavaja police have also taken measures to further escalate the conflict with other family members, and have therefore deployed a police patrol in the village of Agonas in Kavaja.

Meanwhile, the investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office , is continuing its investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the event and legal documentation.
