Martin's dream was to become like Rolando, a famous soccer player that the whole world would know, but unfortunately this dream was cut in the middle.
In an interview for Top Story, the parents of the 14-year-old, who was stabbed to death by his peer, tearfully describe their son as a sweet, smiling and full of desires.
Martini's father: After school, he used to eat bread and go to training. Until the fifth grade, he had grades 10. He wanted to be like Ronaldo, the world will recognize me, he said, don't worry about me. He kept his friends close, smiling. A boy had once been in the pool with her and returned from Italy after the incident. A true angel, God took him with him. Martin had a sense of humor, it was a leadership that made everyone his own. I found it incredible when I saw 500 students from all over the world who came for consolation.
How did you hear the news?
Martin's father: Martin's teacher had called my daughter-in-law. Martini tells him she's at Trauma's, she's busy with some bags. "I'm taking a taxi, I'm going to trauma," says the woman. I notified a colleague and went too.
With an inexplicable force, the victim's father says that he has had no contact with the father of the suspected perpetrator, who is currently in the hospital.
He says that no parent can be proud of having a criminal son.
Did you talk to the teacher and the school staff about the physical fight? Have you had contact with the father?
Martini's father: I don't have any kind of information, there would be no parent who would allow his child to have a fight. We didn't have any kind of information. We have had no contact, but this is insufficient, I don't know, even he as a parent, I don't believe he will be proud of having a criminal son, we have no contact of any kind.
