The messages given today at the protest for the killing of Martin Cani, the 14-year-old who lost his life just a few days ago after being attacked by a peer shocked the public.

It was the message of his parents and the situation created with the participation of the aunt of the deceased in the protest, who then lost her feelings, the ones that made people cry.

The actor Hervin Çuli, invited to the News24 studio in the "Opinion" column, said that he was part of the protest today, which according to him was tainted by the political messages of the speakers at the end.

He stated that his daughter was a classmate of the victim, emphasizing her shock and that of Martin's classmates.

"I was present at part of the protest, when it degenerated into political messages, I left. I think the time has come for peaceful mass protests, there is no need to give political messages.

My daughter is a classmate of Martin's. The first moments when she came home, I didn't understand her, she didn't know that she had passed away, she was shocked and told a friend of mine that they had hit her. I didn't think much of it but later I realized I had made a mistake and I understood the shock of her and her friends. I realized how much they loved that boy.

Being a parent is a difficult thing, something different from what we think in everyday simplicity.

It is difficult to be a parent in the world today, even more so in Albania.

Çuli also tells the moment when the conflict started, which his daughter confessed to him.

"Today he confessed to me that everything happened for a glance. The victim was at the door of the school, he confessed to the girl himself. The author was in a bar, they looked into each other's eyes, Martin told him that he was angry with a lost match the day before and cursed under his breath, but he did not have it with the author. Then they had a conflict. On Monday, Martin then went to class and discussed it with his friends, but no one expected the situation to go this far. There was drugging or premeditation, which I think premeditation is more frightening ," he said.
