Dozens of police forces and RENEA accompanied Dritan Dajti to the funeral of his mother, who passed away the day before.

The burial ceremony was performed in Tufina.


Afterwards, Dajti returned to the premises of the Peqin prison where he is serving his sentence, a sentence that is still controversial and in the judicial process, since the sentence of 25 years in prison has ended, while Dajti considers the decision of life imprisonment illegal.

Meanwhile, in the court proceedings held against him, Dritan Dajtit was not accompanied to the courts at the request of the General Directorate of Prisons, for security reasons.
