Evidence against 45-year-old Taulant Malaj, the Albanian baker who killed his 16-year-old daughter Jessica, and 51-year-old Italian Massimo De Santis on the night between Saturday and last Sunday has been consolidated by viewing home camera videos.
They filmed the scenes in which the man repeatedly hit his wife and daughter with a clear murderous intent.
The official investigation document, published by Ansa, clearly evidences that regarding "the murder of the young Jessica, 16 years old, "who bravely tried in every way and to the end to protect her mother from the brutal aggression of her father ", it turns out that "the blows were inflicted on her voluntarily, in front of her, not only when she intervened for the first time in the bedroom, but also when the aggression continued in the living room", writes the Albanian.
In the body of Jessica, it is written in the documents, "four stab wounds were found in the chest, in the place of the vital organs".
"In the same way we can see the stubbornness with which he attacks his wife by surprising her in the middle of the night while she is in bed, inflicting multiple stab wounds on her upper body as well. "All this happened under the eyes of the couple's youngest son," the document states.
According to the investigators, "the brutal methods of realizing the facts show in the suspect an absolute insensitivity to human life and a shared tendency to commit crimes as a means of proving his convictions and his role in the whole family."
Malaj told investigators that after killing Massimo De Santis, whom he believed to be his wife's boyfriend, he went into the bedroom "where my wife was; I hit her and Jessica came in, wanting to protect her mother." . So I hit Jessica too and killed her. I didn't even realize it was her. Unfortunately, Jessica found herself at the wrong time. They both ran off the bed into the kitchen, where I continued to hit them."
Malay used an 18 cm long knife. The killer's wife, Tefta Malaj, who survived the assassination after being protected by Jessica, has called for help. As she called 118, Tefta repeated "knife", and when the operator asked her if she had been stabbed, the woman could barely answer "yes" and then added: "my daughter, my daughter".
