Since April of this year, the Ministry of Justice has not translated a letter from Spain regarding the case of Saimir Sule, 31 years old, who died in a hospital in Barcelona.
News24 reports that the Ministry of Justice in correspondence with the Prosecutor's Office claims that it cannot find an interpreter. This delay is dragging out the investigation at a time when the hospital has responded to the Sula family that the heart has been found
But the family of Saimir Sula requests that the MD receives the heart organ through the mail and the DNA becomes it.
We remember that Saimir Sula, who died in a hospital in Spain two years ago, where he had gone for COVID and came out dead and without a heart.
What the family said earlier:
The event happened on May 8, 2020 at around 11:00 p.m. The pandemic was in its infancy. The young Albanian named Saimir Sula has entered Del Mar Hospital (Barcelona) accompanied by his sister Majlinda. The boy had a fever and went for a Covid test, which came back negative. They brought him in while his sister stood outside waiting for the results. Eighteen hours later, the medical team at the hospital called Majlinda to tell her that her brother had died.
The strange death was followed by a series of mysteries that the family of the victim has not yet clarified. The first is that, according to the deceased's sister, they tried to burn the body in record time. Majlinda refused because she saw bruises on her brother's body that he didn't have when she entered and argued that the body would be transferred to her native Albania, where she would request a second autopsy. The coffin arrived in Tirana and the second test was carried out. The team that conducted it issued a report assuring that the body had arrived without a heart.
The family asked for explanations from the Hospital del Mar in Barcelona about the reasons for the young man's sudden death. And they denounced in Barcelona after they pointed out in Tirana that the body had arrived at its destination without a heart. They have pursued legal actions. The case, however, is becoming more and more complicated for the family: it has already been filed twice by a Barcelona court and now they face the last possibility of an appeal.
