After a weekend with heavy rains where in the north of the country the rains reached up to 100 mm of rain, this week has started with stable weather, but with a significant decrease in temperatures.

"We have a cold polar mass which has entered the Balkan region causing a drop in temperatures, where the minimum today is only two degrees and the maximum is no more than 14-15 degrees. Tuesday and Monday will be even colder as the cold masses penetrate deeper and in the mountainous areas, we are talking about -3 or -4 degrees in the cities, while the maximum will not exceed 12 or 13 degrees ", meterologist Lajda Porja said in a televised speech.

According to forecasters, the rains will be present during this week as well, but with low intensity. Meanwhile, the frost will be present until Thursday.

"Starting from Thursday and the second part of the week, there is a change in the thermal picture. The increase in temperatures and the return of values of 20 or above 20 degrees. On Tuesday and Wednesday, there will be little precipitation, which will be mainly in the mountainous areas and will mainly be snowfall, since the temperatures will be very low, although not problematic", said meteorologist Lajda Porja.

The month of December will end with temperatures higher than normal monthly values.
