A police officer has been declared wanted in connection with the rape of the journalist Adriatik Doçi, last Sunday afternoon in Kamze, near his apartment.

Sources indicate that it is about the citizen, Ermir Doda, officer of police station no. 4 in the capital, who was also prosecuted for building without a permit. He is charged with the criminal offense of "supporting the author of the crime", while he is expected to be expelled from the ranks of the blue uniforms.

Doda was captured by security cameras driving the perpetrator of the attack, Redon Skutera, away from the scene on a motorcycle, but it is suspected that he also participated in the observation of the journalist.

32-year-old Redon Skutera, who is also known as Redon Pëllumbi, is a person with criminal records, having been arrested a year ago for intentional injury, but it is not known how he escaped justice. 

In the police report, it was said that Skutera punched Doci several times because of his duty, causing him physical injuries.

We remind you that after the author's arrest, Doçi said that the attack on him was paid for by organized crime because of his duty, to create fear and limit reporting.
