DETAILS/ Who is the 'driver' who was driving the car with 40 kilograms

Details of the arrest of 3 young men by the Korca police after they were caught in Qafë-Thane trying to traffic cannabis narcotics in North Macedonia, while two others, brothers, have been declared wanted.

The narcotics came from the area of ​​Shkodra, where people from Fushë-Kruja and Korça were involved. The police intervention was carried out in the Qafë-Thanë area, right at the corner of the Kukës restaurant.

At the time of the intervention , Erisa Fero was arrested , who was driving the car where the drug quantity of 40 kg of hashish was found.

In the car was Likmend Basha , the son of a businessman from Fushë-Kruja. While two other people have been declared wanted, after they left quickly when the police officers intervened.

The goal was to exchange drugs in the area of ​​Qafë Thana, where it was thought to be a territory outside the attention of the police. The action is currently ongoing for the location and arrest of two other persons and their connections.

Notification

Following the anti-drug operation coded "Restart", launched on 07.11.2021, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offense "Trafficking in narcotics", carried out in collaboration:

- EF, 28 years old, living in Tirana; MK, 17 years old, resident of Kruja; LB, 32 years old, resident of the village of Mafsheq, Krujë.


Citizens FS, 30 years old and GS, 28 years old, residents of the village of Piskupat, Pogradec, were declared wanted.

From the conducted investigations, it appears that the citizen E. F; and the citizens of MK and LB, had carried out the transportation of narcotics from the city of Tirana in the direction of Qafë Thana.

From the first investigative actions, it appears that the two wanted citizens, FS and GS, would have trafficked the amount of drugs in the direction of Macedonia.

In cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, the work is continuing for the complete documentation of the event and the prosecution of other persons involved in this criminal activity.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office of the Pogradec Judicial District for further action.
