Edmond Papa, killed today in Tirana, in the moments when he was shot by his executioner, he reacted and shot at him with the tools he had in front of him, a cigarette ashtray and others.

The 49-year-old was initially injured and was sent to the Trauma Hospital for treatment. But around 17:25 he died due to the wounds caused by the firearm. Police say 49-year-old Pope was shot with pistol bullets.

It is learned that the victim had two surnames and that he was also known as Edmond Hoxha. The 49-year-old is originally from Fieri, but lived for years in Saranda, where he had extended his activity in the business field.

Edmond Papa owns the "Blue Sky" hotel, located in the port of Saranda. He was in a bar in the Selita area this afternoon, when he was shot.

He was taken to the Trauma hospital, but died the moment he was about to enter the operating room. The cause of this execution or details of the businessman's past are not yet known.
