Eglant Koçi/Armand Shakaj, known as "Mand Dhelpra"

While Armand Shakaj is on the run, VoxNews has learned that negotiations are underway for his surrender.

The head wound on the victim's body indicated that Armand Shakaj, known as "Mand Dhelpra", had used a firearm, which has not yet been found by the police.

Negotiations with Shakaj's family began before the body was found and intensified after it was found.

However, the family members claim that they have had no contact with Shakaj.

Investigations showed that he had changed 7 numbers during and after the serious act, while the waves were recorded in Tirana.

This reinforces suspicions that he is hiding in remote areas of the capital, but the police have not yet tracked him down.

The lifeless body of 34-year-old Eglant Koçi was taken to his final residence today.

The funeral ceremony was held at noon today at the Shëngjergji cemetery, while family members will receive condolences on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

We recall that Eglant Koçi was last seen on June 4 in the Wilson Square area in Tirana, while riding a motorcycle. He was also filmed at a car service station a few hours before losing all contact with his family. A day later, his family reported him missing to the police.

Investigations led to the discovery of the motorcycle near the "5 Maji" area, as well as the identification of the place where it was allegedly kept after the kidnapping.

According to investigators, only suspect Armand Shakaj, known as "Mand Dhelpra", emerged from the premises where the young man was being held. He is suspected of committing the murder and then hiding the body in a black bag, which he threw in a steep area in Cërruje.

Police continue to search for 41-year-old Shakaj, who is suspected of being the perpetrator of the kidnapping and murder of his friend, while they are also investigating the possibility of other accomplices.
