Shocking new details have come to light regarding the murder of 51-year-old Valbon (Marko) Beqiraj, who was allegedly stabbed over 20 times by Teilor Tivari, 24, inside the victim's apartment on September 24.

Tivari was arrested the day after the crime and during his testimony claimed that he acted in self-defense, saying that the victim had attempted to rape him.

The investigation team casts serious doubts on this version, emphasizing that all the data so far points to a premeditated murder.

An examination of the crime scene revealed that Beqiraj was initially shot near the front door, while his body was found lifeless under the kitchen table, wearing only his underwear.

The apartment was found covered in bloodstains, and it is suspected that after the crime, the perpetrator was helped by a friend of his (with the initials Xh. D.), who drove him to his apartment in a taxi.

The two young men have been remanded in custody by the Durrës Court, while investigations continue to fully elucidate the motives and circumstances of the incident.
