An unprecedented event occurred on Tuesday afternoon in the city of Peshkopia.

 The Director of the Dibër Regional Hospital, Irini Shehu , raped the hospital's Chief of Finance, Shaban Uklala .

Shehu hit her subordinate with a bottle, causing injuries to his face.

It is learned that she went to her subordinate's office and, during an argument, hit him with a bottle. The motives for the conflict are still unknown.

The incident occurred yesterday around 12:00, but the police announced it 10 hours late, through a media release after 10:00 PM.

Shaban Uklala, 37, a resident of Peshkopi, with the position of finance manager, appeared at the police station and reported that after a verbal conflict in the hospital premises, he was hit in the face with a hard object by Irini Shehu, 44, a resident of Peshkopi, with the position of hospital director.

Criminal Investigation Specialists referred the materials to the prosecutor's office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against Shehu.

The director is being investigated for the criminal offense of "Intentional minor injury," the announcement states.

Irini Shehu is also the Mayor of the Municipal Council in Dibër, elected under the SP banner, while in 2021 she ran for the DP.
