A serious incident took place today in the high security prison in Peqin, where the prisoner Arben Leshi was executed with a firearm by Sokol Mjacaj. Indrit Shaqja was also injured by this incident. All three people involved are sentenced to life imprisonment.

According to media reports, the murder was planned. Arben Lleshi was executed with three bullets while he was in his cell.

Sokol Mjacaj went to Building B, in the 2nd special section. First he called her. "Arben Lleshi comes out", he said. After Lleshi came out of the cell door, he shot him with three bullets.

On the other hand, Indrit Shaqja was in the vicinity of the event and was accidentally injured in the leg.

He was taken to the hospital where his life is out of danger.

It is known that Mjacaj used a pistol with a grinder.

It is now expected that the authorities will reveal the full dynamics and causes behind this serious event where Sokol Mjacaj, sentenced to life imprisonment and inside a high security prison, carried out the execution of Lleshi.
