Details have emerged from the shooting death this Wednesday afternoon in Has. The victim was Rushit Sallahi, 34, who was shot while in his car, while the suspected perpetrator, Ylber Jaku, 41, was arrested by the police.

The crime occurred for property reasons, while a conflict had occurred earlier between the parties.

What happened the day before?

The victim's sister hit the perpetrator's parents with a stick the day before.

The police arrested the 21-year-old, the victim's sister, but the conflict remained open.

The 21-year-old woman hit the parents of the perpetrator of the murder, AJ, 65 years old, and VJ, 60 years old. The father received treatment and is out of danger, while his wife VJ continues to be under the care of doctors.

The fight over hard objects between the Sallahu and Jaku families occurred over property issues.

"Following the information provided yesterday, regarding a conflict over property rights in the village of Pla, we would like to inform you that following the investigative actions in this case, the specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Has Police Commissariat arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen: AS, 21 years old, resident of the village of Pla, for the criminal offenses of "Intentional serious injury" and "Intentional minor injury".

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that during the conflict over property, this citizen has hit with strong means, citizens AJ, 65 years old and VJ, 60 years old (spouses). Citizen AJ received treatment and is out of danger to his life, while citizen VJ continues to be under the care of doctors. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Kukës, for further actions", the police said a day ago.
