Two people were injured by gunshots this Tuesday evening in Shkodër, in what appears to have been a failed assassination attempt. The incident happened around 19:30 near a bar in the village of Grudë e Re. The injured are Gjergj Medrshtiqaj, 28 years old, a student at the Security Academy, as well as his 30-year-old brother-in-law, Gjon Nika.

In advance, it is suspected that the target of this assassination attempt was precisely the latter.

The motives of this serious event are not yet known.

30 bullets on target

30 bullets are suspected to have been fired at two wounded people in Shkodër. The perpetrators allegedly burned two vehicles, theirs and those of the injured.

It is reported that the perpetrators of the event used three Kalashnikovs to eliminate the "target", but fortunately Gjon Nika and his brother-in-law, Gjergj Ndershtiqaj, were saved.

The two injured have received serious injuries and are under the care of doctors in Shkodra hospital.

In the direction of Shkodra, several groups of the National Security Force and RENEA, as well as specialists from the Criminal Police Department of the State Police, have gone to help the local Police.
