MP Agron Gjekmarkaj was taken to the hospital after feeling unwell during the DP protest.
Sali Berisha previously claimed that Gjekmarkaj was punched by a police officer while protesting.
According to what is reported by journalists on the ground, Gjekmarkaj lost consciousness after the confrontation with the police, and was later taken to the hospital after not feeling well.
"The police pushed me. I fell unconscious. I have arrhythmia, I am not in good condition and I went to the hospital," Gjekmarkaj declared to Top Channel.
MP Flamur Noka called it an "unprecedented act" and said that the police "will pay" for it.
It is unclear under what circumstances the incident occurred.
