New details from the arrest of the former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj  by order of SPAK together with two other people.

One of the arrested persons is Ermal Kurtulaj , financier and confidant of the former minister. While the second person placed in handcuffs is Alfred Nikolla.

Ermal Kurtulaj is the key figure in SPAK's money laundering investigations and Ilir Beqaj used his vehicle to appear in SPAK.

"I have said for a long time that there is a reason why I come with other people's vehicles, I don't know what to do with the car, I have never had a driver's license", said Beqaj.

Ilir Beqaj is known to have known Ermal Kurtulajn, coordinator of a project with EU funds, and it was a car fine that "sunk" the former Minister of Health.

SPAK launched a financial investigation related to the abuses of SASPAC funds (State Agency for Strategic Programming and Aid Coordination), which was headed by Beqja until the latter was forced to resign after GJKKO imposed two security measures on him: submission obligation and prohibition of travel abroad.

Beqaj communicates to Kurtulaj to talk to Gazi to meet, it is about Gazmend Prenga, the administrator of restaurant X where Kurtulaj is suspected to have invested in this restaurant, while there are also doubts about Beqaj's interests in this restaurant.

Ermal Kurtulaj, who is related to the former minister, was the coordinator of the EUSAIR project that was managed by the SASPAK Agency.

" During the investigations, the conversations of the citizen Ilir Beqaj, who used the phone of the citizen Arben Dani, driver at SASPAC, driver of the former minister, with Ermal, where Ilir asks him to connect with Gazi if he is in Tirana, with purpose to meet.

While Gazi turns out to be in Lezha. From the analysis of the first conversation of dt. 06.12.2023, where the citizen Ilir Beqaj asks the citizen Ermal Kurtulaj to connect with "Gas", it is suspected that it is about the citizen Gazmend Prenga, the administrator of the restaurant X.

This is because on 06.12.2023 around 23.21 Ermali talks to Gazi where he asks if he keeps the pad that holds our notes and he says 'yes' it is at work and from the conversation it is understood that they are calculating about the lek that has been invested at least from Ermal's side and not only.

Based on this conversation, the suspicions are supported that the citizen Ermal Kurtulaj, although legally he does not appear in the administration of restaurant X, in fact he has made investments there and the fact that the reference is made to the number of the sum raises doubts about the interests of the citizen Ilir Beqaj in that restaurant.

These doubts also arise from the conversation carried out on the date. 14.12.2023, 11:33, between Ermal Kurtulaj no. x and no. 0X (identified as the number of the citizen Arben Dani, but in this conversation the citizen Ilir Begaj speaks ", it is stated in the investigative file.
