Scene from the scene

On the Levan-Vlora highway, traces of the mafia assassination that occurred the night before, where Kristjan Marku from Mamurrasi was killed, are still fresh.

Broken car windows still found on the road, brake marks on the road, and parts of the car on the side of the road.

Meanwhile, security cameras have filmed the movement of the perpetrators' and the victim's car.

The perpetrators are suspected of having ambushed the 30-year-old as he crossed the Novosela underpass.

The assailants, who are suspected to have been three people, emerged from the underpass and approached the Volkswagen Passat car in which the young man was traveling.

After approaching the passenger's right side, they fired more than 13 bullets at him, three of which hit him in the body.

Along the way, the car the 30-year-old was traveling in collided with the traffic divider several times until it stopped.

Marku died from his injuries. By the time the police arrived with the ambulance, the latter had left again after the 30-year-old had died.

The perpetrators' burnt-out car was later found no more than 1 km from the scene. Meanwhile, around 10 people have been questioned by the police about the incident.

They are mainly people who were at the scene.

While 4 people were escorted to the police station, among them are Martin and Saimir Reçi,

In March 2023, Kristian Marku fired a gun at Saimir Reçi's armored car.

They were questioned about the crime, but denied any knowledge or connection to the execution of the 30-year-old.

Young Mark's criminal past has led the investigation team towards the trail of revenge murder.

The young man is the nephew of Martin Bardhi, killed on September 26, 2023, and is also suspected of being a victim of the revenge saga between the two tribes, Reçi and Bardhi.

Also in 2023, Kristian Marku was filed by the police as a suspect in an attempt to execute Kastriot Reçi's nephew on March 26, two years earlier.
