Authorities in Dhërmi have identified a hotel that was dumping wastewater into a stream near the facility, causing pollution of the surrounding environment.

According to the police, the hotel's wastewater treatment plant was out of order.

The Crime Investigation Specialists at the Dhërmi Police Station referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office and initiated criminal proceedings, at large, against the hotel administrator, the 46-year-old with the initials EM, 46 years old. She will be investigated for the criminal offense of "Air, water and land pollution".

Meanwhile, the Task Force of the National Water Supply and Sewerage Agency, Tirana, imposed an administrative measure against the subject for the violation found.
