The Special Court sentences the former mayor of Fushë-Arrëz, Fran Tuci, to 1 year and 6 months in prison, who was accused of "abuse of duty". 

Tuci and the former administrator of the Iballe administrative unit, Ndoc Marku, are accused of 'abuse of duty' and 'destruction of property', after they allowed the opening of a road 1.8 km long and 5 m wide in the forest area, initiated by a private entity.

The estimates of the Territory Protection Inspectorate speak of a damage of more than 2 million euros, caused by the damage to the terrain and the deforestation of the surface from which the privately opened road has benefited.

Tuci has been deprived of the right to exercise public functions for another 5 years.
