FIER/ The 15-year-old in serious condition consumed nitrogen balloons

Nitrogen balloons have become a concern for young Albanians. The police of Fier have announced that a 15-year-old went to the hospital in a serious state of health as a result of consuming such a pipe.

For this incident, the police say that they have arrested 3 people who sold the tollumbaci to the minor. According to the authorities, as part of the continuation of the operation "Tempulli" 50 liters of nitrogen, a quantity of narcotic cannabis and 250 cylinders used to fill them with nitrogen were seized.

It is also announced that these persons carried out this illegal activity in a bar with computers for children and teenagers. There they had created a suitable place for the use of drugs and their sale.

The arrested are GX, 60 years old and RX, 27 years old, father and son, and citizen EL, 24 years old.

"Citizen RX had adapted the first floor of the bar for drug use, and in cooperation with citizens G. X and EL, they sold to teenagers (9-year-old school students), substances dangerous to health (nitrogen gas balloons), and as a result of their consumption, a 15-year-old went to the regional hospital of Fier, in a serious state of health. This environment, which was blocked by the Police, was advertised by the arrested as a place where children/teenagers played computer games", the police announced.

According to the police, for several months these people have been selling nitrogen gas cylinders to teenagers for 350 Lek
