There is a photo of the author who stabbed the mayor of Divjaka, Fredi Kokonesi, and also seriously injured his driver.

He is a former employee of the municipality of Ergest Xhelili.

The incident happened this morning. Xhelili is a former employee of the Divjak municipality in the Technology and Information (IT) sector.

His wife is a nurse by profession and the move from the Divjaka hospital has become the cause of the quarrel.

This has also led to the revolt of Xhelil. The latter went and demanded an account from Kokonesh, as he claimed that this move was made on his orders.

The quarrel escalated and the young man shot the mayor with a knife. He also injured Kokonesh's driver, Gazmend Bullari, who intervened to separate them. The injured are in the hospital, while Xhelili has been handcuffed.

The head of the socialist parliamentary group Taulant Balla and the director of the Police Alfred Çepe reacted to the incident. Ergest Xhelili has been arrested and is expected to face justice.
