The date on which Florian Marku, holder of several titles as a truck driver in boxing, who is currently in custody in the British capital, will be extradited from London to Athens has been announced.
Mark's lawyers have applied to postpone his extradition date by 10 days.
It is not known why they made such a request or whether they intend to appeal the extradition request to Greece.
According to Top Channel, this request has been approved and Florian Marku is expected to be extradited by January 23rd.
At the extradition hearing on January 7, Marku voluntarily agreed to be extradited to Greece and face charges before the Greek courts.
According to the European international arrest warrant, Florian Marku is accused in Greece of attempted murder, serious injury, illegal possession of weapons and use of weapons.
These charges relate to the 2010 incident when he got into a fight in a nightclub in Thessaloniki with several Russian citizens.
