A knife wound occurred this evening in the neighborhood "Liberation" in Berat. A 44-year-old man was traveling in a Volkswagen vehicle with license plates AB 362 BS, and was involved in a conflict with another driver.

As a result of the conflict, the 44-year-old was stabbed in the leg. Sources suggest that the injured identified as Erjon Daja was transported to the Berat Regional Hospital, where he is under the care of doctors.

The perpetrator of the injury, identified as Arsen Bitri is learned to have fled the scene and police are working to apprehend him.

The conflict between Bitri and Daja is learned to have started at noon, where the two people clashed in another neighborhood of the city but separated.

According to the sources at the scene, it is learned that the perpetrator of the injury claimed that the injured Daja had gone to shoot him with a pistol, but after the pistol had not fired, Bitri had shot him with a knife.

It is learned that the police are searching around the bushes and thorns along the road to find the weapon that the injured Erjon Daja allegedly had with him.
