The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has promised from "Astiri" to remove the average for university this year.

During the meeting with businesses and residents of the area, Berisha also promised that the government will offer grants of 30 thousand euros to young couples who will pay the interest on the loan, while those who will have 3 children will not pay a single penny on the loan.

"I give my word to these young people that the average for university will be abolished next year. In September there will be no average. That the fees will be 4 times lower. That the scholarship will be 200 euros. That after graduating from school, every entrepreneur who employs young people will be paid for one year of their social security and all expenses for their qualifications. Young people who want to open businesses will benefit from grants, soft loans and for every young couple a roof. The government will guarantee grants of 30 thousand euros with which young couples will pay the interest on the loan. Couples who have three children will not pay a single penny of the loan, the state will pay them."

The democratic leader guaranteed businesses a reduction in the price of energy and water, as well as a friendly climate to increase investments.

"I promise the businesses of Astir and all of Albania the imposition of a flat tax of 10 percent from the current 23 percent. The reduction of VAT to 15 percent. The reduction of the price of electricity to 6 lek. The halving of the water tariff. The prohibition by law of municipalities, which will never be able to impose more than 1 percent of turnover in local taxes on businesses. I guarantee small businesses that in addition to energy and water, public space that is sold to them for 1,500 lek will go down to 120 lek. That the ceilings for profit tax and VAT will increase from 100 thousand and 140 thousand, which are today, to 180 thousand euros. Business will therefore have a friendlier climate, it will be able to increase investments and employment.
