The court has issued a verdict for two doctors, Petrit Rexhepi and Elona Burba, accused in connection with the death of Doriana Haka, the wife of former Partizan goalkeeper Alban Hoxha, in November 2014, two weeks after giving birth to her first child.

Elona Burba, a resuscitator, was found guilty and sentenced to 1 year in prison, which will be converted into 2 years of probation and a license suspension for a period of 2 years.

Meanwhile, surgeon Petrit Rexhepi was found guilty and sentenced to 6 months in prison, which will be converted into 12 months of probation.
