Vox News has provided the footage when 23-year-old Azgan Mërnica gets into his family's private car and heads to the Fier Local Police Directorate to surrender.

In the video, the voices of his family members are heard, as the 23-year-old gets into the car to go to the police premises.

He was convinced by his family members to surrender, while in the video a woman can be heard telling him: "Azgannn... God bless, let the auspicious road take you".

The 23-year-old is seen laughing and very calm.

Azgan Mërnica was located in an apartment in the village of Dërmenas and the RENEA forces had asked him to surrender. The 23-year-old's father and uncle negotiated for the latter.

RENEA had been given a deadline for self-surrender, and in the opposite case they would intervene, even by physically neutralizing her if there was a counter-response.
