ARRSH notice on the state of road axes: Use winter tires and chains
Bad weather in the country

The Albanian Road Authority has reacted on the condition of the road axes in the country as a result of the bad weather.

Currently, ARRSH says that traffic is continuing without problems on all national axes. The intensity of the snowfall has decreased throughout the territory, while the temperatures have gone up to -6 degrees in the mountainous areas.

"Maintenance work groups have been working non-stop on all axes with the presence of snow for cleaning, widening and avoiding frost", announced ARRSH.

The Road Authority calls for car drivers to be equipped with winter tires and chains when traveling to segments with the presence of snow, to reduce speed, to respect traffic police signs and instructions.
