AMA cracks down on online piracy, blocks another platform that rebroadcasts

The Audiovisual Media Authority (AMA) has announced another blow to online piracy, announcing that the illegal platform "shqiperia.dev", which retransmitted content from licensed operators in Albania without authorization, has been made inaccessible.

The news was made public by the director of the AMA, Armela Krasniqi, through a post on social networks. According to her, the platform was officially reported by the AMA for violating broadcasting rights, while the company Cloudflare reacted immediately by confirming the complaint and identifying the hosting service providers that supported the operation of the site.

Krasniqi emphasizes that as a result of this collaboration, the site is currently no longer accessible and that AMA will continue monitoring and reporting any platform suspected of piracy, with the aim of protecting licensed operators and the rights to audiovisual products.

The illegal platform shqiperia.dev, which rebroadcast DigitAlb, Tring and other nationally licensed operators without authorization, was officially reported by the AMA.

Cloudflare responded immediately by confirming the complaint and revealing the hosting providers responsible for the site's infrastructure! As a result, the platform is currently inaccessible!

"AMA continues to monitor and report any platform suspected of piracy of audiovisual products, in the protection of licensed operators and the public," Krasniqi writes.
