A road accident occurred on Friday evening in the Fani area, Mirdita, where six minors, all cousins, were injured.

According to preliminary information, the vehicle was allegedly driven by a 16-year-old, who had taken the vehicle without a license. For reasons that are being investigated, he lost control of the vehicle, which crashed into a lighting pole.

As a result of the collision, all six minors were injured. A 12-year-old girl is suspected of having suffered a fractured pelvis, while two other minors suffered fractures in their hands and legs. The other four minors suffered various injuries.

The injured initially received first aid and were then transported to hospitals in Tirana for more specialized treatment. Six ambulances were deployed to transport them.

According to current data, all six minors are out of danger.

The Police services and the investigation group arrived at the scene, carried out procedural actions and launched investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident. Meanwhile, the 16-year-old has been prosecuted in accordance with the law, while investigations continue to determine the exact causes of the incident.
