The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, has welcomed the anti-cannabis operations in several areas of the country where thousands of narcotic plants have been destroyed.

Through a post on social networks, Balla says that "we expect more shots like these".

"Congratulations to the State Police for last night's strikes against the cultivation of narcotic plants in Shkodër, Malësi e Madhe, Vau i Dejës, Lezhë and Krujë, where 6210 narcotic plants were destroyed. We expect more shots like these", writes Balla.

We remind you that in the last few hours in some areas in the north of the country, thousands of cannabis sativa plants have been destroyed by burning.

In Kruja, during the 28th phase of the "Clean Territory" operation, 875 cannabis sativa narcotic plants that were found cultivated in mountainous terrain were destroyed by burning.

Meanwhile, in the region of Shkodra, a total of 3491 cannabis sativa narcotic plants were destroyed, of which: 304 plants in Pult and Theth, Shkodra; 1021 plants in the village of Rrapsh, Malësi e Madhe; 2166 plants in the villages of Shllak and Temal, Vau i Deja.
