A person, suspected of having mental health problems, is reported to be walking the streets of Tirana with a knife in his hand, shooting passers-by.

Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço says that he has managed to injure two people so far, by shooting them with a knife, one of them in the face, in the New Boulevard area.

The Tirana police have been alerted but are working to locate him.

"This afternoon, the Tirana Police are on alert for the pursuit of a person with mental disorders, who moves with a knife in his hand in the New Boulevard area. So far, he has attacked two people and wounded one of them in the face. After Vlora and Durrës, this is the third case in 1 month that such an event has occurred", Karamuço declared.
