The Tirana police have given the details of the accident registered yesterday evening around 23:10, at the crossing in Mjull Bathore, where the protagonist was a vehicle with diplomatic license plates.

Police authorities inform that the accident involved a vehicle belonging to the Russian embassy in Tirana, which collided with the metal banner of the road, went off the road and then collided with the curb.

As a result of the accident, the Russian citizen SM, 36 years old, a passenger in the car, lost his life, and the driver of the vehicle, citizen AK, 30 years old, who is in the hospital, under the care of doctors, was injured.

As can be seen from the photo above, the accident was serious, where the car was completely destroyed and turned upside down.

The investigative team is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
