A chain accident was recorded this Monday afternoon on the Durrës-Tirana highway, just before Sukthi, in the direction of Tirana.

According to preliminary information from drivers, seven vehicles were involved in the incident. Initially, it is suspected that two cars collided, while a little later five other vehicles were involved in a chain collision.

As a result, traffic in the Durrës-Tirana direction is problematic, creating long queues of vehicles.

Meanwhile, another accident has been recorded on the Tirana-Durres road, near Maminas. Due to the two accidents, traffic has been significantly disrupted, with the convoy of vehicles stretching all the way to Tirana.

Durrës Police clarify that no people were injured, while they are expected to provide details about the circumstances of the two accidents.
