As part of the investigations into the murder of Edmond alias Ali Sula, by decision of the Tirana Court, several searches were carried out in the Bërxulë area, near the place where the serious crime occurred.

Among other things, the apartment of citizen J. Koni was also searched, as the victim and the 44-year-old were in conflict over property, which is also one of the main leads of the investigation.

During the search, Tirana police found a firearm and consequently arrested Konin, who is currently being held in custody for the criminal offense of illegal possession of a weapon. He is currently being investigated for suspicions of involvement in the incident.

To prove their suspicions, investigators are verifying his alibi, as well as all his movements over the past few days, while analyzing phone records and other data.

Edmond Sula was shot in the head at the door of his house. Investigators suspect the killer was a professional, based on the way he acted.

Police are investigating several leads, from property problems to a cannabis cultivation license in North Macedonia, to shed light on the murder./vna.al
