An accident with two dead occurred on the A7 motorway in Genoa, Italy, where two vehicles collided "head to head".

According to Italian media, the accident involved a BMW driven by 35-year-old Albanian origin Matilda Hidri and a Volvo SUV driven by 46-year-old Italian Giuseppe Garavaglia.

According to the reconstruction of the scene by the Italian authorities, it is reported that the cause of the accident was the 46-year-old, who for 5 kilometers had traveled offense in the wrong lane of the highway.

From the strong collision between the two vehicles that were destroyed were left dead instead of the two drivers of the vehicles; Matilda Hidri, 35, and Giuseppe Garavaglia, 46.

Three other people were injured in the accident; a 4-year-old child, a 34-year-old woman and a 35-year-old.

The three were traveling in a Volkswagen car behind Matilda Hydri's car and were also involved in the accident.
