Serious accident in Elbasan, highway blocked: 1 dead (foreign citizen) and 6

A foreign citizen is reported to have lost his life at the entrance to the Elbasan highway, while six others were injured.

He was in one of the four cars involved in the collision and unfortunately did not survive his injuries.

The collision occurred near Xibraka, at the highway junction, and as can be seen from the footage, the vehicles involved were completely destroyed.

The injured were rushed to the hospital, while there is a high police, emergency services and fire brigade presence at the scene, which has helped extract people from the damaged vehicles.

There are also numerous services at the Xibraka junction from the Traffic Police, which is working to manage traffic and restore circulation, as currently no vehicles are passing on the highway.
