Found dead in Korça/ The 72-year-old had been away from home for months!

A dead body was found yesterday evening in the Çardhak area in Morava, Korça.

According to the police, the victim had left his apartment in February and after an autopsy, it was learned that 72-year-old Agim Dejo died of natural causes.

Police announcement:

Following the information provided on 09.02.2026, regarding the removal from the apartment of citizen AD, 72 years old, resident of Korça, we would like to inform you that his dead body (decomposed) was found in the place called "Çezma e Manushaqeve", on Mount Morava, Korça.

From the entirety of the investigative actions (examination of the crime scene, examination of the corpse and statements by the forensic doctor after the autopsy), it results that there were no external injuries and that the 72-year-old is suspected of having lost his life due to natural causes .
