A serious accident was registered this Sunday evening in Durrës. A Roma minor was hit by a vehicle in the Kneta area.

The child, who had been begging near the traffic light for a long time, was immediately sent to the emergency room of the Durrës Regional Hospital, where according to the first information, he is under the care of the white shirts, in a serious state of health.

"Around 18:40, in neighborhood no. 17/1, Durrës, a vehicle driven by citizen IB, 30 years old, had an accident with a 7-year-old child, a pedestrian, who is under the care of doctors.

The driver of the vehicle, citizen IB, was escorted to the premises of the Durra Police Station for further action.

The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident", announced the Durrës police.
