The decision of the Supreme Court to leave Jeton Lam in prison, the former agent of the Operational Forces who served as a bodyguard and driver of the much-wanted Ervis Martinaj, has been clarified.

In his claims in the recourse made, against the decision of the Appeal to leave him in prison, Jeton Lami stated that the security measure of prison arrest endangered his life because of his profession and requested a milder security measure, arguing that he did not there are conditions and criteria for assigning a coercive measure such as "Imprisonment".

Meanwhile, the decision of the Supreme Court gives details about the life of Ervis Martinaj and his last days. In the investigation file, it appears that a 22-year-old woman who was one of Martinaj's last contacts before his disappearance was also questioned.

She is the former Miss Albania, Sadete Kokomani. She explained that she met Martinaj in January 2022, after he had written on the "Instagram" social network. Martinaj had an Instagram profile with the name "King Simba" and a lion profile picture.

After several communications, he met with Ervis in Durrës on January 7, 2022, in front of a hotel. Ervis had gone alone in a BMV 7 series vehicle, whose number plate he did not remember. After this meeting, the meetings with Ervis continued normally. The 22-year-old also told about the meeting on August 5, 2022. At around 5 p.m., she left by taxi from Durrës to Tirana after communicating with Ervis on the Telegram app to see a house for rent.

According to her testimony, Ervisi was in an Audi A8 vehicle with foreign license plates sitting in the first passenger seat, while in the driver's seat was another person that Ervisi kept close to him as a driver of about 30 years old with slightly gray hair. fell forward and wore a little beard (Jeton Lami). She got into the back seat of the vehicle and they left Tirana for Durrës. First they went around to Golem and then they went to the Adriatiku hotel, while the person who booked the room was the driver according to the girl's testimony. She said that they stayed at the hotel until the next day, August 6, around lunchtime.

In the court's decision, it is stated that Jeton Lami has no other convictions and there is no reason to leave the country or to prevent the taking of evidence. At the end, the assignment of the security measure 'House arrest' or obligation to appear is required. On the other hand, the decision of the Supreme Court states that there are no circumstances in which Jeton Lami can appeal the decision taken on February 7.

As for the case when he was caught accompanying Ervis Martinaj, Jeton lami said that he met Ervis Martinaj by chance in the "Black Bird" area in Tirana three days before accompanying him to Durrës. Martinaj himself asked him to accompany him and Lami sent him to Durrës where he left him in a hotel with a friend of his. While a day later he went to Durrës, took Ervis Martinaj and his friend and left them in a place near a gas station in the Vora area and from that moment on he had no more contact with her.

Jeton was arrested on August 24 of last year at the request of the Prosecutor's Office of Laçi, for the charge of "Abuse of duty", while the prosecution has postponed the investigation for the former police officer Jeton Lami by another 3 months. The latter applied to the Appeal to be released from prison, but the court rejected it. While investigating the disappearance of the much-wanted Ervis Martinaj, the police discovered that in order to escape, Martinaj was helped by an agent of the operational forces in the State Police, Jeton Lami, who was handcuffed on August 24 by the Lezha police.

On August 5 and 7, Lami transported businessman Ervis Martinaj between Durrës and Tirana. Lam was caught by the security cameras of a hotel in Durrës, where he was accompanied by Ervis Martinaj. For the first time, the investigators were able to discover that on August 5, 2022, Lami took Martinaj to the northern area in a luxury vehicle 'Audi "A8" and transported him to Durrës to a hotel in the presence of an as yet unidentified girl. On August 7, the police have the last image of Ervis Martinaj in the city of Durrës and Tirana at a hotel, while on August 10, his uncle Faik Martinaj filed a complaint with the police about the loss of contact with his nephew.
