Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço warns that after Arben Ahmetaj, other political figures on the left and right, who are under investigation by the Special Prosecutor's Office, will face charges.

For the show "Top Talk", Karamuço said that the list is very long until September and because SPAK will manage to perform some kind of balance, it will strike from both sides.

Excerpts from the conversation:

Ervin Karamuço: 10 days ago we were on this show together with the journalist Hoxha and we made our predictions, where it appeared to us that due to the submission deadline or the closing of this parliamentary session, if I'm not mistaken until July 20 is, SPAK had to move and speed up the work to close some of the cases that are still under investigation, and that could require and have concrete arrests.

Thus, until September, we had many of these characters, not only on the left, but also on the right, who will soon face such accusations. Let's see in the coming days because SPAK wants to manage to perform some kind of balance. So, I will maintain a kind of diplomacy of the prosecuting body, because in the end they say that "you are only hitting here, right here?".

SPAK will see what the possibilities are because there are several people who are under investigation and it must be seen how these investigations will end, and how the case will go in court.

Juli Xhokaxhi : Good, but Karamuço put it this way, it seems as if the norm must be fulfilled and this is no longer justice.

Ervin Karamuço: Yes, but normally SPAK faces, in addition to public opinion, also the oppositions that have been made to it by the Parliament of Albania and political parties. So, whether he likes it or not, he is in a kind of balance and he has to maintain this balance in the application of the law.

Also, keep in mind that some of the files that we considered a few years ago as hot files, today have been set deadlines. None of the people who we thought a few years ago could go to prison, will no longer face these charges and have finally escaped prison.

It is not for me to say who the files are, but some of them have escaped. Now we are talking about those that are under investigation. And there are many files that are under investigation, plus what is coming from the internationals, which we have said time and time again that letters are coming, referrals are coming which will be a surprise to us.
