The administrator of the Integrated Energy concession company, Herman Daniel Vermulen, in an interview for MCN, said that the payments received for the Tirana incinerator are not money that does not go to the persons declared fugitives. He denied that the company he manages is related to Klodian Zoto and Mirel Mërtir.
The last time you told us that no SPAK prosecutor has come to your office, meanwhile the new leader, Altin Dumani, stated that numerous investigative actions are being carried out here. And now, have you had visits from prosecutors and have you been interrogated?
SPAK has never come to our offices, but I can confirm with them about everything we have, I can't give more information than that.
What is your relationship with Mirel Mertir and Klodian Zoto, have you ever communicated with them after the opposition accused them of being the real owners of the Tirana incinerator?
I don't know these people you just mentioned, but I can say for sure that they are not the owners here, if you want to see you want to verify about the owners see the Chamber of Commerce registry.
Have you ever met the mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj or the prime minister Edi Rama, what influence do they have here?
I have never met the mayor or the prime minister.
What happens if SPAK places Tirana's incinerator under seizure, with the difference in payments it turns out to be profitable, would it be more reasonable and less expensive for the state to administer the incinerator itself?
If the situation becomes such that it will pass under the administration of the state, this is something that I cannot control, I cannot predict, because I know what they can do with all this investment. I really hope that this project will be continued. It has the maximum potential, I can assure you that it is an example project for the citizens of the Balkans. Albanian citizens should be proud of this work and we are striving for it. I think they would not hire us or give us this concession.
